Overview

This policy explains when Minova refunds a subscription payment, how to ask for one, and what happens when you cancel. It applies to all paid Minova plans (Pro and Pro Plus) on weekly, monthly, and yearly billing.

Minova also has a free plan. We recommend trying it before subscribing so you know the product fits your job search.

Refund on Your First Subscription

If a paid plan is not right for you, tell us and we will refund your first subscription payment in full.

  • Monthly and yearly plans: Request a refund within 14 days of your first payment.
  • Weekly plans: Request a refund within 48 hours of your first payment, since a weekly billing period is only seven days.
  • No explanation needed: You do not have to justify the request. Telling us what did not work helps us improve, but it is optional.
  • Access ends: When a refund is issued, the subscription is cancelled and paid features are turned off.
3

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Renewal payments are generally not refundable, because you can cancel at any time before the next charge and you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.

That said, we would rather sort out a genuine problem than keep money you did not mean to spend. If a renewal caught you off guard and you have not used the new period, contact us and we will look at it.

4

Cancelling a Subscription

  • Where: Cancel from your billing settings inside your Minova account at any time.
  • What happens: Cancelling stops future charges. Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • Your data: Your account, resumes, and career profile remain available on the free plan after a paid subscription ends, subject to free plan limits.
5

When We May Decline a Refund

Refunds are handled in good faith, and we may decline a request where:

  • The request falls outside the time windows described above and no other issue applies.
  • Most of the plan’s AI usage allowance for the period has already been consumed.
  • The account has breached our Terms of Service, for example by sharing or reselling access.
  • There is a pattern of repeated subscribe-and-refund activity on the same account or payment method.
6

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. Customers in the EU and UK normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase made online. Because Minova is a digital service you get access to immediately, you are asked to agree to that immediate access at checkout, which can affect the withdrawal right once the service has been provided.

If your local consumer law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law applies.

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your Minova account, and tell us which plan you are on and roughly when you were charged.

We aim to reply within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider, and usually appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
